Samuel Parma Ogoefuna Fortune-Ebie

He is a renowned Estate Manager with several years experience. He was the pioneer General Manager of Federal Housing Authority (FHA) from 1976 to 1983 and in that capacity supervised the designing and developing of the Festival Town (FESTAC) for the 1977 Black Festival of Arts and Culture. This project provided accommodation for the participants of the festival, and Festac town now houses many of the inhabitants of Lagos.

Fortune is the Founder and President of Estate firm Fortune Ebie & Co, Home of Estate Surveyors & Valuers, Property Development & Management Consultants. He, along with some friends struggled for recognition as professional surveyors and succeeded in getting the “Nigerian Institute of Estate Surveyors and Valuers” duly recognised by the government. From 1983 to 1995, he was also the pioneer President and Managing Director of Shelter Afrique, a mortgage institution meant to help all contributing African nations to develop housing at a cheaper rate for their citizens.

During his tenure, he travelled the length and breadth of African countries to meet with heads of government and convince them of the need to contribute their quota to the Shelter Afrique. He continues to work tirelessly towards improving the housing industry in the country and has tried to get the government involved in approving housing policies and structuring other systems that will develop housing in the country. Sir S P O Fortune Ebie serves as Director of Zenith Bank Plc.

Fortune is currently serving as a non-Executive Director in Pison Housing Company.

Osaro Eghobamien (SAN)

Osaro was admitted to practice in England & Wales and Nigeria. He is a holder of an LLB (Hons) Queen Mary and Westfield College, University of London, 1988. He was called to Bar of England and Wales in 1989, and later admitted to practice in Nigeria in 1991.

Following his call to the Nigerian bar, Osaro joined the litigation practice, Sofunde, Osakwe, Ogundipe & Belgore, and got the opportunity to develop and own his notorious advocacy skills. He later joined the firm of Bentley, Edu & Co., managing that firm’s Trademark and General Litigation Practice.

As Head of Etti, Edu & Co’s litigation practice, Osaro quickly carved out a niche as an intellectual property litigation Lawyer, recording impressive victories in this growing area of litigation practice. Osaro is a founding partner of Perchstone & Graeys, and spends most of his time advising commercial clients on contentious issues. He represents the interests of clients in our regular courts, from the High Court all the way to the Supreme Court, and is primarily responsible for handling arbitral proceedings, particularly in respect of oil and gas and finance matters.

Osaro brings his extensive international experience, and his deep familiarity with English common law, in assisting with the development of Nigerian law. He takes every available opportunity to teach law and legal principles to young legal talents, and is particularly focused on developing a strong, durable and sustainable law practice.

Osaro advises on Financial Services and is editor of the in-house publication, ‘Nigeria Financial Services Review’. He represents some of Nigeria’s major financial institutions.

He is currently serving as a non-Executive Director in Pison Housing Company.

Roland Igbinoba

Roland has garnered over 13 years experience in the financial services industry in Nigeria having worked with United Bank of Africa Plc, Oceanic Bank of Nigeria and National Bank of Nigeria. He is a consultant to the International Finance Corporation (IFC) on the Lagos State Government Mortgage tool kit.

Roland is currently the President/CEO of PISON HOUSING COMPANY and also a consultant with the World Bank Group on the Investment Climate Program (ICP) & Mortgage Pilot Project of Lagos State.

Roland has led a multidisciplinary team of real estate professionals to secure US$100 Million of syndicated loans / club deal for about 2000 units of housing in Nigeria. Currently he is leading a multidisciplinary team on a total portfolio of US$400 Million real estate financing for three joint venture developments in Nigeria. Roland is also leading a team of consultants through a special purpose vehicle in a strategic partnership with a renowned international financial asset management company for a US$500 Million REITs Fund to be listed in the Nigerian Stock Exchange. Also, Roland is on the team of financial advisors structuring a US$ 250 Million debt capital for a client from his offshore parties who has committed to real estate investment in Nigeria for the next 5 years.

He is also currently a member of the technical committee (mortgage Sector) of the Financial System Strategy 2020 (FSS 2020), the Federal Government of Nigeria financial schemes reform driven by the Central Bank of Nigeria. With housing finance study internships in Mexico, India, Thailand, South Africa, Europe, Canada & America, Roland’s interest and zeal in developing the Nigerian real estate and housing finance sector burns.

Roland is also the Executive Vice Chair of the Roland Igbinoba Real Foundation for Housing and Urban Development. The Foundation is a corporate social responsibility effort and a non-governmental initiative aimed at providing information and analytics to the housing market in Nigeria. The Foundation is strictly set up as an institution for social capital, advocacy and policy making towards the development of the Nigerian housing market and ultimately the provision of affordable housing to the citizenry. The Foundation has successfully published “The State of the Lagos Housing Market” which is a first of its kind.

Roland is an Alumnus of Harvard University Graduate School of Design.

Femi Osemwegie

As its co- founder, Femi Osemwegie has positioned Pison Housing Company as one of the fastest growing real estate investment advisory companies in Sub-Saharan Africa. Femi led the development of a state-of-the-art technology system, raised operational capital, and was instrumental in securing Pison as an OPIC EDN loan originator. Femi has more than 15 years of experience as an information technology (IT) professional, with an extensive background in infrastructure and systems development.

Relocating to the Boston area, Femi achieved the gold standard in technology as a Microsoft-certified Systems Engineer. Intuitively, he sidestepped the high-paying computer profession of the early 1990s, opting to create a consulting company. Mortek Solutions, Inc. designs and develops leading technology solutions for Fortune 500s and government agencies in Massachusetts. Starting with almost zero capital, Femi expanded Mortek Solutions to more than $5 million in gross revenues. Over the last seven years, the company has employed more than 40 consultants.

While Mortek Solutions grew, so did Femi’s passion to bring affordable housing to his homeland. A keen observer of the successes and failures of the U.S. real estate market, Femi attended local and international real estate finance development programs to broaden his expertise. He gained considerable experience from Euromoney Bond Investment Courses, Harvard Business School (HBS) REITS Workshops, the Real Estate Investment Conference (China), and the Builders Show in (Orlando, Florida).

Currently, Femi is leading an effort to create one of the largest affordable housing deployment technologies in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Femi is currently serving as a non – Executive Director in Pison Housing Company.

Omolola Igbinoba

Omolola Igbinoba is a co-founder of Pison Housing Company. She has over 12 years post qualification experience in sales, general management and educational administration. Having garnered experience from Josef Ross Limited and AG Leventis Plc. At AG Leventis Plc, Omolola was responsible for client relationship management and market development for the sales of Mercedes Benz in Nigeria.

Currently she serves as an Educational Administrator with Corona Trust Council, Ikoyi. She has attended several local and international training programs including AISA in Ghana and the University of Cambridge, London.

She is currently serving as a non–Executive Director in Pison Housing Company.

Hyelni Tarfa

Hyelni has gained considerable knowledge and experience in the real estate and housing sector having been part of some of the leading institutions in the sector.

A graduate of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, she had earlier worked with the Federal Capital Development Authority, Abuja and Post-Service Housing Directorate, a mortgage and housing firm which structures and provides housing and mortgages to the Nigerian Army personnel. She gained firsthand knowledge on how to develop site plans, being part of the team responsible for the FCT city being planned and implemented, and how to best structure mortgages to enable housing to be more accessible.

She leads financial advisory department of Pison Housing Company where she is involved in real estate investment structuring and management, development of business plans and project management, research and development of real estate products, and property mortgage structuring.
